Every child, no matter where they live, deserves an opportunity to attend school and receive an education. Unfortunately, in the communities we serve there are still families that cannot afford to send their children to school or face the difficult decision of which child to send to school because there isn’t enough money to send them all. According to UNICEF, over a million Kenyan “school-aged children are at risk of dropping out” and nearly two million children are not even attending school in Kenya (UNICEF, November 13, 2024). Blessed Bees Global Ministry is committed to improving access to education through our scholarship program. We aim to bridge the gap for families struggling to pay school fees, students graduating from secondary school who aspire to attend college, and for those in college who need a additional support to finish their program. By investing in students, the ministry helps address educational inequities, strengthens families and communities, and creates pathways for young people to grow in purpose, opportunity, and long-term success.
